Shining For Arts Education and the Advancement of Equality
Our mission is to shine for inclusive arts education and the advancement of equality.
Our purpose is to cause peace in the world.
Since 2011, Jason Mraz Foundation has donated more than $1 million to various charities supporting inclusive arts education and the advancement of equality.
As a donor advised fund established in 2011, JMF has raised over $1 million to help support organizations such as Harmonic Humanity, True Colors Fund, Life Rolls On, School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community (SPARC), Rock n’ Roll Camp For Girls, and American Foundation for Equal Rights. In 2017 JMF transitioned into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to shine for inclusive arts education and the advancement of equality by providing program support, performance opportunities, and arts education.
In 2019 we have already committed our support to many great organizations and we are excited to launch our first programs in Southern California, starting with a Songwriting Workshop hosted by Jason himself.
